Crash Love
By AFI
AFI have returned with one of their best albums to date, and more surprising than anything; it’s a coherent pop album. The group finally play very tight and support each other very well with each individual member’s strengths without the album being entirely about Davey (i.e. Sing the Sorrow). What makes this album stand out more than anything is that each track is incredibly strong individually, and when you play the whole album through it’s even more enjoyable, without any song having a particular relationship to one another.
Standout Tracks:
- Beautiful Thieves
- Too Shy to Scream
- Medicate
- Darling, I Want to Destroy You
